Short-term Maryland Avenue Bridge closure takes place May 4
Day-long closure needed to install water main
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – St. Paul motorists will experience delays as the Maryland Avenue Bridge spanning Interstate 35E closes at 6 p.m. Friday, May 4.
The closure is necessary as crews install a water main crossing beneath Maryland Avenue. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour during the closure.
Maryland Avenue will reopen to traffic by 6 p.m. Saturday, May 5.
This work is in preparation for the Maryland Avenue Bridge replacement project, which begins in mid-May.
