Concrete rehabilitation project begins June 1 on Hwy 5
Single lane traffic to take place

(Roseville, Minn.) – Motorists near the Airport may encounter delays both directions of Hwy 5 between Post Road and Edgecumbe Road as concrete rehabilitation begins June 1.

Both directions of Hwy 5 between Post Road and Glumack Drive will be reduced to a single lane at 6 a.m. Friday June 1 as crews work on concrete rehabilitation in the area.

Beginning Monday, June 4 the rehabilitation will mean single lane traffic in both directions as well between Shepard Road and Edgecumbe Road at 6 a.m.  Both sections will be complete by June 11.

The work is part of a larger project to rehabilitate concrete pavement at several locations throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area. Details on future lane closures at other locations will be issued as it becomes available.

When complete the project will result in a smoother ride along several busy stretches of Twin Cities Metro Area roadway.
