Long-term Hwy 3 (Robert Trail) closure in Inver Grove Heights starts May 29
(Roseville, Minn.) – Motorists will encounter delays and a detour in Inver Grove Heights as Hwy 3 (Robert Trail) closes between 70th Street and 80th Street on Tuesday, May 29.
A signed detour will follow County Road 26/70th Street, Hwy 52, 50th Street and Hwy 3.
The roadway is scheduled to reopen by Saturday, July 21.
The closure is needed as crews resurface the roadway, improve drainage, add turn lanes and improve guardrail along this segment of Hwy 3.
The project is being led by the city of Inver Grove Heights.
