Short-term I-35E/Maryland Avenue ramp closure takes place May 22
Water main work beneath roadway continues
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – St. Paul motorists will experience delays as the ramp from Maryland Avenue to northbound Interstate 35E closes at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 22.
The closure is necessary as crews continue water main construction beneath Maryland Avenue and the ramp.
In order to access I-35E during the ramp closure, motorists are advised to follow an alternate route to the freeway or follow I-35E southbound to Pennsylvania Avenue and enter the northbound freeway at that point.
The ramp will reopen to traffic by 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 23.
This work is in preparation for the Maryland Avenue Bridge replacement project, which began early in May.
