Northbound Hwy 52 to close April 13
Hwy 52 reconstruction continues through late June

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will experience delays and a detour as northbound Hwy 52 closes between Concord Boulevard and Interstate 94 in St. Paul.

The northbound roadway, including all ramps leading to it, will close at 10 p.m. Friday, April 13 and reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, April 16. Southbound Hwy 52 will remain open. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour.

This closure is needed as crews prepare ramp and travel lane pavement for resurfacing as well as replace bearings on the Eaton Street Bridge.

The work scheduled weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the case of inclement weather.

When completed by late June, Hwy 52 traffic between just south of Lafayette Bridge and Concord Street will travel on resurfaced lanes and three new re-decked bridges.

When completed late 2014 – early 2015 the new Lafayette Bridge will provide two through-lanes and an auxiliary lane in each direction for entering and exiting traffic. The project also includes the realignment of the Hwy 52 Bridges spanning I-94. A pedestrian and bicycle lane on the northbound bridge is included in the plans.
