Hwy 5 project in Victoria begins April 30
Lane closures at County Road 41
(Roseville, Minn.) – Motorists travelling near the Highway 5/41 intersection in Victoria and Chanhassen may encounter delays as two turn lanes at the intersection are closed for reconstruction beginning Monday, April 30.
The right-turn lane from westbound Highway 5 to northbound Highway 41 will be closed on weekdays from 12:01 a.m. Mondays through 11:59 p.m. Fridays. The turn lane will reopen by Tuesday, May 15. A signed detour will direct motorists to northbound County Road 13/Rolling Acres Road to eastbound Highway 7 and back to Highway 41.
The right-turn lane from northbound Highway 41 to eastbound Highway 5 will close at 12:01 a.m. Monday, April 30 and will reopen by Tuesday, May 15. A signed detour will direct motorists along County Road 18/Lyman Boulevard and County Road 117/Galpin Boulevard.

All residences and businesses will remain accessible during the project.
When complete the project will result in a smoother ride, reconstruct a section of Hwy 5 prone to sinking and heaving, improve pedestrian and trail facilities and improve the overall efficiency of Hwy 5.
