Additional ramp, lane closures scheduled for Hwy 52 project
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – In addition to ramps currently closed on southbound Hwy 52 in St. Paul, the ramp from Concord Boulevard to northbound Hwy 52 also has been closed.
MnDOT has determined that the ramp close in the interest of safety.
Northbound Hwy 52 traffic currently is configured as a single lane, and it will remain so through early July. This ramp also will reopen in early July.
In order to access northbound Hwy 52 motorists must follow the posted detour: follow Concord Boulevard onto southbound Hwy 52 to Butler Avenue. Use the Butler Avenue interchange to head northbound on Hwy 52.
In addition, southbound Hwy 52 will be reduced to a single lane at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 26 and 7 p.m. Friday, April 27.
Southbound Hwy 52 will reopen to two lanes of traffic by 6 a.m. Friday, April 27 and 6 a.m. Saturday, April 28.
The ramp from southbound Hwy 52 to Concord Street and the ramp from Eaton Street to southbound Hwy 52 closed on April 25. However, the ramp from Concord Street to southbound Hwy 52 remains open, as does the ramp from southbound Hwy 52 to Plato Boulevard.
