I-694 open house scheduled for May 3
Public invited to learn about project activities
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Anyone interested in learning about the I-694 resurfacing and ramp reconstruction project in Oakdale, Mahtomedi, Vadnais Heights, White Bear Lake and Maplewood between 40th Street and Hwy 61 is invited to an open house on Thursday, May 3, 2012.
The open houses will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Century College, 3300 Century Ave. N. White Bear Lake. Staff will be located on the west campus’ main area, in the lower level called “the nest.” Project information will be on display and staff will be on hand to answer questions. There will be no formal presentation.
Work includes pavement rehabilitation, ramp reconstruction at White Bear Ave., Century Ave. and Hwy 36, minor deck repairs and improvements, guardrail replacement, replacement of 20 centerline culverts and the construction of four short acceleration lanes at I-694/Hwy 36. The project is scheduled to begin in June and is expected to be completed in late October.
