Eastbound I-94 to close at 10 p.m. April 13
Access from Downtown Minneapolis to remain available from 6th St. North
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists and fans attending the Minnesota Twins baseball game are reminded that eastbound I-94 between I-394 and I-35W, as well as all ramps leading to the freeway, will close at 10 p.m. Friday, April 13.
While access to eastbound Interstate 94 will be unavailable from Hennepin Avenue/Lyndale Avenue, several options remain for those traveling eastward.
Access to southbound I-35W, westbound I-394 and westbound I-94 is available from Downtown Minneapolis. The ramp from 6th Street North to eastbound Interstate 94 will remain open until 9 a.m. Saturday, April 14.
When completed in June the I-94 improvement project between downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul will feature Smart Lane Technology, integrated electronic signage to display road condition information and improve traffic flow, reduce congestion and improve safety.
