Upcoming meetings will outline I-35W Managed Lanes
Corridor Study
Proposed lanes would operate between downtown Minneapolis, Forest Lake
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Information about proposed managed lanes on the I-35W Corridor between downtown Minneapolis and Forest Lake will be highlighted at two open houses early next month. The public is encouraged to attend one of the two meetings scheduled:
- 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Blaine City Hall, Cloverleaf Farm Room, 10801 Town Square Drive NE, Blaine.
A brief presentation is planned for 5:30 p.m. or - 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Minneapolis Central Public Library, Doty Boardroom 2nd floor 300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis.
A brief presentation is planned for noon.
The study will evaluate managed lane concepts as well as improvements at locations along the I-35W North corridor. This study will identify the preferred managed lane concept and improvement strategies for the corridor and how those changes could be implemented over time.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input, and ask questions concerning this study. MnDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and discuss the study on an individual basis.
