Hwy 65 open house scheduled for April 18
Public invited to learn about project activities


ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Anyone interested in learning about the Hwy 65 resurfacing project between Minneapolis and Fridley is invited to an open house on Wednesday, April 18, 2012.


The open house will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Hennepin County Library Northeast Branch meeting room, 2200 Central Avenue NE in Minneapolis. Project information will be on display and staff will be on hand to answer questions and take feedback. There will be no formal presentation.


The Hwy 65 resurfacing project is located in Hennepin and Anoka counties between Washington Avenue in Minneapolis and 53rd Avenue NE in Fridley. Work includes resurfacing Hwy 65 to preserve the lifespan of the roadway and create a smoother ride for motorists, repairing and drainage structures, and updating accessibility for pedestrians. The project is scheduled to begin at the end of April and be completed by late August.
