Overnight closures set next week on eastbound Highway 10
Arden Hills closures needed to set bridge beams above roadway
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Eastbound Highway 10 in Arden Hills will close overnight Monday, Feb. 20 and Tuesday, Feb. 21, as crews place bridge beams over the roadway for the new bridge being built to carry eastbound I-694 traffic. The highway will close each night from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. between I-35W and the Highway 10 junction with I-694
During the closure, traffic will follow a signed detour south on I-35W and east on I-694. Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes to avoid congestion.
Major reconstruction at the interchange of Interstate 694 and Highway 10 at Snelling Avenue and Hamline Avenue in Arden Hills began last fall. The two-year project includes reconstruction of the surrounding roadways between I-35W and Victoria Street along with the Island Lake bridges east of the interchange between Lexington Avenue and Victoria Street.
In addition to rebuilding the surrounding highways, the project will rebuild bridges in the corridor and will improve safety and mobility.
