Southbound Hwy 169 daytime lane closure scheduled for today
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists in Edina, Eden Prairie and Bloomington will experience possible delays as lane closures continue on southbound Highway 169 between I-494 and Anderson Lakes Parkway at at 9 a.m. today.
The lane is scheduled to reopen by Noon today.
The closure is necessary as crews install a guardrail along Highway 169 as part of the Highway 169/I-494 interchange reconstruction project.
The Highway 169/I-494 interchange reconstruction project includes turning the current expressway into a freeway by rebuilding the interchange with six ramps instead of eight. The performance-based design removes traffic signals, reduces congestion and improves safety.
