Hwy 7/Louisiana Avenue project open house scheduled for Nov. 15
Construction begins in April 2013

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Area residents and business owners are invited to attend an open house to learn more about a City of St. Louis Park-led 2013 project to reconstruct the Hwy 7/Louisiana Avenue intersection into a diamond interchange.

The open house will be held Thursday, Nov. 15 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the 2nd floor multi-purpose room of the City of St. Louis Park’s Municipal Service Center, at 7305 Oxford Street.

Open House attendees will be able to learn the details of the project, view project layouts and detour information and ask questions of MnDOT and St. Louis Park project staff.

Project goals are to improve safety and mobility on the corridor by configuring Hwy 7 to span Louisiana Avenue, adding roundabouts on Louisiana Avenue at the Lake Street and Walker Street intersections, reconfiguring West Lake Street and Walker Street and making upgrades to existing pedestrian and bicycle facilities.
