Right lane of northbound Xerxes Avenue at Hwy 62 closed through Dec. 15
Motorists traveling northbound on the Xerxes Avenue Bridge spanning Hwy 62 (Crosstown) in Minneapolis may experience delays through mid-December as the right lane of the bridge is closed.
A vehicle traveling eastbound on Hwy 62 struck a beam on the Xerxes Avenue Bridge on Monday, Nov. 26. The right lane of the northbound Xerxes Avenue Bridge will remain closed until crews can make the proper repairs.
Crews expect the northbound lanes of the bridge to re-open by Saturday, Dec. 15.
