Overnight closure of local road in Hastings to begin Oct. 14
2nd Street closing to through traffic but will remain open for downtown parking
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists traveling 2nd Street near downtown Hastings will encounter an overnight detour as the road is closed between Eddy and Sibley streets starting at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14.
The closure is needed as crews install conduits for the new Highway 61 Hastings Bridge southbound lanes spanning 2nd Street.
All lanes are scheduled to open by 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 15.
Parking will remain available during the closure on 2nd Street immediately east of the bridge (from the east access ramp to Sibley Street) for those visiting businesses in the area. Drivers can access downtown Hastings at East 3rd or 4th streets.
