Dec. 13 meeting will outline plans for new Chatsworth Street bicycle/pedestrian bridge
Chatsworth Street bridge spans I-94 in St. Paul
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Plans to replace the Chatsworth Street bicycle/pedestrian bridge crossing Interstate 94 in St. Paul will be outlined at an open house on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the St. Albans Park Community Room, 665 Selby Avenue in Saint Paul.
Mn/DOT invites the public to learn about the project to replace the aging bridge located between Lexington Avenue and Victoria Street to allow safe access between the north and south sides of the freeway. Work is currently scheduled to begin in mid-2012 and be completed by that fall. During the project, I-94 motorists will encounter occasional lane closures and shoulder closures for removal of the old structure and construction of new bridge piers.
