Update: Hwy 169 lane closures rescheduled for Dec. 15
Striping rescheduled due to inclement weather
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter delays on both directions of Hwy 169 between Anderson Lakes Parkway and Valley View Road in Bloomington and Edina as lane closures occur Thursday, Dec. 15.
Alternating lane closures on Hwy 169 will occur between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. for striping as part of the Hwy 169/I-494 interchange reconstruction project. Previously scheduled for today, the work was rescheduled due to inclement weather.
The Hwy 169/I-494 interchange reconstruction project includes turning the current expressway into a freeway by rebuilding the interchange with six ramps instead of eight. The performance-based design removes traffic signals, reduces congestion and improves safety.
