Daytime Hwy 13 closure in Lilydale scheduled for Nov. 10
Roseville, Minn. — Motorists traveling Hwy 13 will experience delays and a detour in Lilydale as the road is closed between Second Avenue and Lexington Avenue, approximately one half mile west of I-35E, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10.
A signed detour will direct motorist around the closure using Lexington Ave. and Hwy 110.
The road closure is needed as crews conduct a seismic survey to gather data on the rock beneath the roadway along a short section of Hwy 13 with a history of washouts and road closures. The data gathered will be used to determine what future work might help better stabilize the road’s foundation and reduce the frequency of road closures.
