All lanes of westbound I- 94 reopened early today
A days-early reopening between Portland Avenue and Lyndale Avenue

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The left lane of westbound I-94 between Portland Avenue and Lyndale Avenue in Minneapolis, closed since 10 p.m. Oct. 27, reopened to traffic early Wednesday, Nov. 2.

 

Crews were able to complete most of the foundation work for overhead signs and barriers. Minor barrier and shoulder work remains to be completed, and any lane closures this week should be brief and during non-rush hours.

 

The lane closures were part of the larger project to resurface and improve I-94 between downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul. The ramp from eastbound I-94 to Riverside Avenue/25th Avenue will remain closed until Nov. 5. The entire project will be completed next spring.
