Construction open houses scheduled for Nov. 29 and Nov. 30
I-494 in Richfield, Edina and Bloomington is the topic
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Anyone interested in learning more about the I-494 improvement project scheduled for Richfield, Edina and Bloomington is invited to either of two open houses Tuesday, Nov. 29 and Wednesday, Nov. 30.
Each open house will be held at the following locations:

Project layouts and schedule information will be displayed. Project staff will be on hand to answer questions and take feedback.
The proposed project will reconstruct the Xerxes Avenue Bridge spanning I-494, add a westbound auxiliary lane between Nicollet Avenue and Portland Avenue and between I-35W and Hwy 100, resurface I-494 mainline and ramps, reconstruct the median and resurface various frontage roads.
The project is scheduled to begin in summer 2012 and be completed by spring 2013.
