Overnight I-94 ramp closures occur tonight, Nov. 10
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will experience delays and a detour as the ramp from Riverside Avenue/25th Avenue to westbound I-94 and the ramp from southbound Hwy 280 to westbound I-94 close overnight tonight, Nov. 10.
The ramp from Riverside Avenue/25th Avenue to westbound I-94 will be closed from 11 p.m. until 4 a.m. Nov. 11. During the closure, motorists are advised to use alternate entrances to access westbound I-94.
The ramp from southbound Hwy 280 will be closed from midnight until 5 a.m. Nov. 11. During the closure motorists are advised to access eastbound I-94 and then use the Snelling Ave. interchange to access westbound I-94.
The ramp closure at Riverside Avenue/25th Avenue was rescheduled from the previous evening due to high winds. The ramp closure at Hwy 280 is needed for moving concrete barriers.
The I-94 improvement project between downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul includes resurfacing, which will create a smoother ride for motorists and extend the lifespan of the roadway. The project also includes drainage improvements, bridge maintenance work, reconstruction of the shoulders, realignment of the lanes and smart lane technology to improve safety and congestion.
