Hwy 280 closures scheduled for early Saturday, Oct. 8
Closures associated with Central Corridor Light Rail Transit project
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will experience delays early Saturday, Oct 8, as Highway 280 closures take place in St. Paul.
Southbound Highway 280 will close at 12:01 a.m., as will with the ramp from Kasota Avenue to southbound Highway 280, when crews continue work on the Central Corridor Light Rail project at University Avenue.
All traffic southbound will be routed to the Territorial Boulevard exit to Eustis Street and Franklin Avenue in order to reach the appropriate ramp to eastbound or westbound I-94.
Once work is completed on southbound Hwy 280, the northbound Hwy 280 will close, including the ramps from both directions of I-94 to Highway 280.
All traffic from I-94 will routed to Cromwell Avenue to re-enter northbound Hwy 280 at Territorial Boulevard.
The roadway will be reopened to traffic by 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8.
