Access to Savage businesses to change beginning Oct. 10
Two Hwy 13 intersections to close
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will begin using new, safer routes to access local businesses near the Highway 13/101 interchange in Savage beginning on Monday, Oct 10.
Beginning after 12 a.m. Monday, the northbound Highway 13/Rhode Island Avenue intersection near Weekend Freedom, Airgas and Forklift and Equipment Services will be closed permanently.
The Highway 13/Louisiana Avenue intersection near Savage Auto Sales, Tarp’s and Savage Motor Inn is scheduled to close Thursday, Oct. 13.
Access to Highway 13, the frontage roads and local businesses will move to the Highway 13/101 intersection (less than one-quarter mile west of Rhode Island) and to Dakota Avenue (less than one-quarter mile east of Louisiana Avenue).
The lane closures are part of the new Highway 13/101 Interchange project.
