Hwy 169/I-494 ramp, lane closures continue tonight

 

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter lane closures on westbound Interstate 494 between West Bush Lake Road and Prairie Center Drive at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6.

 

The roadway will be reduced to two lanes at 7 p.m. and reduced to one lane at 10 p.m.

 

All lanes of westbound I-494 will reopen at 5 a.m., Friday, Oct. 7.

 

Additionally, the ramp from southbound Highway 169 to westbound Interstate 494 will close at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 6 and Friday, Oct. 7.

 

The ramp will reopen at 5 a.m. each day following the closures.

 

During the ramp closure, motorists should follow the posted detour route: Southbound Highway 169 to eastbound I-494 to Highway 100 North to westbound I-494.

 

Part of the Highway 169/I-494 Interchange Reconstruction project, the closures are necessary as crews continue constructing the Washington Avenue Bridge spanning I-494.
