Overnight I-35W lane and ramp closures occur Oct. 17-20
ROSEVILLE, Minn. –Minneapolis motorists may encounter delays as overnight lane and ramp closures occur on northbound I-35W between Washington Avenue and I-94 Oct. 17-20.
On Monday, Oct. 17, the two left lanes of northbound I-35W will close at 10 p.m. The two right lanes will close once the left lanes reopen. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18.
On Tuesday, Oct. 18, the two right lanes of northbound I-35W will close at 10 p.m. The lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19.
On Wednesday, Oct. 19, the ramp from northbound I-35W to Washington Avenue/3rd Street will close at 10 p.m. Motorists are advised to use alternate exits during the closure. The ramp will reopen by 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20.
The restrictions are needed as crews continue working on a new flyover bridge as part of the Central Corridor Light Rail construction project.
