Hwy 169/I-494 ramps closing overnight Oct. 17
I-494 and Hwy 169 lane closures also scheduled
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter ramp and lane closures at the Hwy 169/I-494 interchange in Eden Prairie, Edina and Bloomington beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17.
The ramp from southbound Hwy 169 to westbound I-494 will close at 9 p.m. Oct. 17.
During the closure, motorists should follow the posted detour route:
Southbound Hwy 169 to eastbound I-494 to northbound Hwy 100 to westbound I-494
The ramp will reopen by 6 a.m. Oct. 18.
The ramp from eastbound I-494 to southbound Hwy 169 also will close at 9 p.m. Oct. 17.
During the closure, motorists should follow the posted detour route:
Eastbound I-494 to northbound Hwy 100 to westbound I-494 to southbound Hwy 169
The ramp will reopen by 1 a.m. Oct. 18.
In addition, motorists will encounter lane closures on both directions of I-494 at 10 p.m. Eastbound I-494 between Prairie Center Drive and Hwy 169 will be reduced to two lanes, and westbound I-494 between West Bush Lake Road and Prairie Center Drive will be reduced to one lane at 10 p.m. All lanes of eastbound I-494 will reopen by 5 a.m. Oct. 18 and all lanes of westbound I-494 will reopen by 6 a.m. Oct. 18.
The right lane of southbound Hwy 169 between I-494 and Anderson Lakes Pkwy will also close overnight, from 8 p.m. Oct. 17 until 5 a.m. Oct. 18.
Part of the Hwy 169/I-494 interchange reconstruction project, the closures are necessary for crews to pour the deck for the new Washington Avenue Bridge spanning I-494.
