I-35E lane closures to affect Monday rush hours
ROSEVILLE, Minn – Motorists will encounter delays during Monday’s rush hours in St. Paul as northbound I-35E is reduced to a single lane between Shepard Road and Hwy 5/West Seventh Street beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12.
All lanes will be open by 5 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13. Motorists are advised to plan additional travel time and use alternate routes when possible during the closure.
The extended lane closure is needed to allow enough time for the new concrete to adequately cure before it can carry traffic.
Lane and road closures will occur on I-35E in Eagan and St. Paul through November 1. The project will be complete by Nov. 15.
