Overnight I-94 lane closures to begin earlier than usual for paving
Reconstruction project between the downtowns continues
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists may experience delays in both directions of I-94 between Nicollet Avenue and Cretin Avenue/Vandalia Street in Minneapolis and St. Paul as overnight additional lane closures begin at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7-9 and Sept. 11-13.
Part of the I-94 improvement project, the additional lane closures need to begin earlier than the usual 9 p.m. start time for paving of the inside shoulders. All lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. Sept. 8-10 and Sept. 12-14.
Additionally, one lane of eastbound I-94 will be closed at Snelling Avenue on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. until noon for sign work.
