Sept. 15 open house to outline I-694/Hwy 10/Snelling/Hamline improvements
Long-term roadway, interchange improvements begin Sept. 19
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – With reconstruction of the interchange of I-694, Hwy 10, Snelling Avenue and Hamline Avenue in Arden Hills slated to begin Monday, Sept. 19, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will host an informational open house next Thursday. The planned improvements will be highlighted at the meeting from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Arden Hills City Hall, 1245 West County Road 96 in Arden Hills.
The project will rebuild the highways and bridges to improve safety and mobility. Additional construction will replace the I-694 bridges at Island Lake between Lexington Avenue and Victoria Street.
Layouts and graphics of the improvements will be displayed during the informal open house. Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Ramsey County and the city of Arden Hills will be in attendance to answer questions. There will be no formal presentation.
