Hwy 5 lane closure begins Oct. 5
Bridge rail replacement gets underway between Mendota Bridge and Shepard Road
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists may encounter delays on eastbound Hwy 5 between the Mendota Bridge and Shepard Road beginning at 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5 as crews begin a bridge rail replacement project.
Eastbound Hwy 5 will remain reduced to a single lane through mid- to late October, weather permitting.
Westbound Hwy 5 between the two points also will be reduced to a single lane for approximately two weeks beginning later in October. Specific closure dates will be announced as the project reaches that stage.
