Hwy 61 lane closing on Thursday, Sept. 22
ROSEVILLE, Minn – Hwy 61 motorists may experience delays through Hastings on Thursday, Sept. 22 as the road is reduced to a single lane between Spiral Bridge Road, near Hub’s Landing, and Third Street in Downtown Hastings.
The lane closure will occur between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. A flagging crew will control traffic during the closure.
The temporary lane closure is needed as crews complete required maintenance on the existing Hastings Bridge. The work is not part of the new Hwy 61 Hastings Bridge project.
As is expected for the entire project, two-way traffic will remain across the river during peak travel times, and access to local businesses and residences will not be affected.
