Ten-day closure set for turn lane construction at westbound Hwy 10,
Foley Boulevard in Coon Rapids
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Construction of a new right turn lane from westbound Hwy 10 to southbound Foley Boulevard in Coon Rapids will require a ten-day closure. The ramp from westbound Hwy 10 to both directions of Foley Boulevard will close from 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12 until 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22.
During the closure, crews will build a new right turn lane from the westbound Hwy 10 ramp to southbound Foley Boulevard. Construction of the new turn lane will create a double right turn lane controlled by the reconfigured signal system at the interchange.
During the closure, a signed detour will direct motorists west on Hwy 10, east on Hwy 610 and north on Hwy 47 to reach Foley Boulevard. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed until the following weekend.
