Hwy 21 sealcoating project postponed
ROSEVILLE, Minn – Highway 21 road work, scheduled to occur through 8 p.m. today between Mill Street in Jordan and Sixth Street/County Road 37 in New Prague, has been postponed due to rain.
Crews are scheduled will return tomorrow, Wednesday Aug. 31, between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. to complete sealcoating the roadway. Sections of the road will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers and a pilot car controlling traffic through each work zone. Access to driveways and crossroads along the roadway may be temporarily restricted to allow the resurfacing materials to adequately cure before carrying traffic.
Motorists on crossroads and residents with driveways along Highway 50 are required to wait to follow the Pilot Car before entering any work zone on Highway 21 during the work hours mentioned above.
All work is weather dependent.
When completed the project will result in a smoother ride and extended pavement life.
