Hwy 61/Third Street exit closure begins August 29
ROSEVILLE, Minn - Motorists traveling northbound on Hwy 61 near Downtown Hastings must use a modified route to reach Downtown Hastings as the exit to Third Street is closed and traffic is detoured to Fourth Street beginning Monday, Aug. 29.
Motorists will be able to access parking, local businesses, the Chamber of Commerce and the Hastings Police Department near Third Street via Sibley Street.
The exit to Third Street is expected to open by Sept. 19.
The closure is needed as crews complete utility work on the east ramp.
As is expected for the entire project, two-way traffic will remain across the river during peak travel times, and access to local businesses and residences will not be affected.
