Hwy 61 lane closing on Thursday, August 25
ROSEVILLE, Minn – Motorists traveling Hwy 61 through Hastings will experience delays on Thursday, August 25 when the roadway is reduced to a single lane between Spiral Bridge Road, near Hub’s Landing, and Third Street in Downtown Hastings.
The lane closure will take place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. A flagging crew will control traffic during the closure.
This temporary lane reconfiguration is needed to help expedite construction for the new bridge’s south approach and plaza area near Downtown Hastings.
As is expected for the entire project, two-way traffic will remain across the river during peak travel times, and access to local businesses and residences will not be affected.
