I-35W full closures in Minneapolis scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night
ROSEVILLE, Minn. –Minneapolis motorists will encounter delays and detours as lane closures and full closures of southbound, and then northbound, I-35W between I-94 and Washington Avenue occur overnight Aug. 18 and Aug. 19.
Lane restrictions and a full closure of southbound I-35W will occur overnight. Left lane closures will begin at 10 p.m. Thursday, and the roadway will close completely at midnight. Motorists will be directed around the closure by using the ramp to westbound I-94/eastbound Hwy 55/southbound I-35W. The roadway will reopen by 5 a.m. Aug. 19.
Lane restrictions and a full closure of northbound I-35W will also occur overnight. Left lane closures will begin at 10 p.m. Friday, and the roadway will close completely at midnight. Motorists will be directed around the closure by using the Washington Avenue ramps. The roadway will reopen by 5 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20.
