Hwy 95, Hwy 8 resurfacing project begins Aug.15
Roseville, Minn. — Motorists may experience delays on Hwy 95 between north of Hwy 97 and Hwy 8 in Franconia Township and city of New Scandia and on Hwy 8 west of Taylor Falls.
Crews are scheduled to begin work on Monday, Aug. 15.
Sections of the roadways will be reduced to a single lane initially beginning at 9 a.m., Mondays through Fridays as flaggers and a pilot car control traffic through each day’s work zone. Saturday work will only occur if necessary.
Access to all homes and businesses will be maintained during the project.
Motorists and residents with driveways along Hwy 95 are required to wait to follow the pilot car before entering any work zone.
The initial work is expected to be complete Sept. 26. All work and the schedule are weather dependent.
The project will result in a smoother ride and extend the pavement life by 7-10 years.
