I-35W lane and ramp closures occur Aug. 13
ROSEVILLE, Minn. –Minneapolis motorists may encounter delays and detours as lane and ramp closures on both directions of I-35W between Washington Avenue and University Avenue occur Saturday, Aug. 13.
At 6 a.m. the left two lanes of both directions of I-35W will close. The lanes will reopen at noon Aug. 13, at which time the right three lanes in both directions will close.
In addition, the ramps from Washington Avenue to northbound I-35W, northbound I-35W to University Avenue and University Avenue to southbound I-35W will close at noon Aug. 13.
The right three lanes and the three ramps will all reopen by 6 p.m. Aug. 13.
Motorists are advised to follow posted detour routes during the ramp closures. The closures are needed for routine maintenance work on the I-35W Saint Anthony Falls Bridge.
