Hwy 36 Ramp to Rice Street scheduled to close Friday
Crews to pave new Hwy 36 ramp
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The ramp from westbound Hwy 36 to Rice Street in Roseville will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12 so construction crews can pave the new westbound ramp from Hwy 36.
During the closure, traffic from westbound Hwy 36 should follow the signed detour to reach southbound or northbound Rice Street. The ramps from eastbound Hwy 36 to Rice Street and Rice Street to eastbound and westbound Hwy 36 will remain open.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes is possible to avoid congestion and delays during the work.
Replacement of the aging Rice Street bridge and construction of a new interchange will increase safety and lessen congestion. The project is expected to be complete in November 2011.
