I-35 Goose Creek Rest Area reopened at 12:30 p.m. today
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists may once again take advantage of the amenities of the Goose Lake Rest Area in North Branch as the rest area reopened at 12:30 p.m. today.
The rest area had been closed since a July 1 storm destroyed trees. Crews had spent weeks cleaning up the rest area, removing trees and debris, seeding the lawn, patching walking paths and sweeping the parking lot.
The rest area had been scheduled to reopen on Aug. 1.
