Interchange ramp closures begin June 4 at Hwy 52/I-494

 

Roseville, Minn. — Motorists may encounter delays near the Hwy 52/I-494 interchange in Inver Grove Heights as all four loops are closed at various times over this weekend.


Beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday, June 4 the loops from southbound Hwy 52 to eastbound I-494, and from eastbound I-494 to northbound Hwy 52 will close as crews work on the south side of the Hwy 52 bridges spanning I-494.


After work is completed on the south side of the Hwy 52 bridges, the loops from westbound I-494 to southbound Hwy 52, and from northbound Hwy 52 to westbound I-494 will be closed as crews work on the north side of the Hwy 52 bridges spanning I-494.


All work will be completed by 5 a.m. Monday, June 6.


The closures are part of a project to rehabilitate the Hwy 52 bridges between I-494 in Inver Grove Heights and the Mississippi River in St. Paul. The project also includes drainage improvements, cable median barrier installation and other needed work along the roadway.
