Hwy 65 resurfacing, accessibility project outlined next week at meetings in Minneapolis

Project will improve safety and mobility for motorists and pedestrians

 

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Two informational open house are set for Tuesday, June 28 and Thursday, June 30, 2011, at the Hennepin County Library Northeast Branch, 2220 Central Ave. NE in Minneapolis, to outline next year’s resurfacing and accessibility project on Hwy 65.


The project, between Washington Avenue in Minneapolis and 53rd Avenue N.E. in Fridley, includes resurfacing from Washington Avenue to 14th Ave. NE, 18th Avenue to 27th Avenue and from 37th Avenue NE to 53rd Avenue NE, bridge repairs and accessibility upgrades at 51 intersections.


The informational open house is set from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28 and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 30 in the Northeast Meeting Room.
