Hwy 52 overnight lane closures scheduled for June 23

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Motorists may encounter delays on Highway 52 when the roadway is intermittently reduced to a single lane just north of Interstate 494 overnight on Thursday, June 23.

Northbound Highway 52 will be reduced to a single lane near Southview Boulevard beginning at 7 p.m. After crews complete their work on northbound Highway 52, southbound Highway 52 will be reduced to a single lane near Southview Boulevard.

All lanes will be open by 7 a.m. Friday, June 24.

The lane closures are needed as crews plane the Highway 52 bridge decks spanning Southview Boulevard.

The work is part of a larger project to rehabilitate the Highway 52 bridges between I-494 in Inver Grove Heights and the Mississippi River in St. Paul. The project will also improve drainage, install cable median barrier and perform other needed work along the roadway.
