West 78th Street/Townline Avenue to close June 2-4
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter a detour on eastbound West 78th Street/Townline Avenue in Bloomington when the road closes at 9 a.m. Thursday, June 2.
During the closure, motorists will be able to access westbound West 78th Street/Townline Ave from southbound Hwy 169. Access to southbound Hwy 169 from eastbound West 78th Street/Townline Ave will not be available.
Motorists should follow the posted detour route:
- Westbound West 78th Street to northbound Prairie Center Drive to eastbound I-494 to southbound Hwy 169
West 78th Street/Townline Avenue will reopen by 5 p.m. Saturday, June 4, weather permitting.
Part of the Hwy 169/I-494 Interchange Reconstruction project, the closure is necessary as crews install a water main under the roadway.
