Lane closures between Maple Grove and Rogers begin May 4
Final construction begins for the I-94 concrete rehabilitation project
ST. PAUL, Minn. —Motorists may experience delays as the I-94 concrete rehabilitation project between Maple Grove and Rogers resumes Wednesday, May 4.
Lane closures will occur during non-rush hours as needed for the duration of the project. Crews may close one lane in either direction during daytime hours and up to two lanes overnight. No closures will occur during the weekend of the fishing opener, Memorial Day weekend, or the 4th of July.
Crews will be marking the roadway May 4 through May 13, and concrete repair work will begin May 16 weather permitting. Final work will include diamond grinding, to smooth out the roadway and provide a better ride for motorists. The entire project is expected to be completed in early July.
