County Road 81 to close at 5:30 p.m. May 24
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will experience delays and a detour starting on Tuesday, May 24 at 5:30 p.m. when County Road 81 in Maple Grove closes between Elm Creek Boulevard and Fernbrook Lane.
The closure is needed to maintain motorist safety during roadway cleanup activities in the Hwy 610 project area as a result of the weekend storms. The roadway will remain closed until roadway cleanup is complete.
During this time the posted detour is:
- Westbound: West on County Road 30 to Fernbrook Lane and north to County Road 81
- Eastbound: South on Fernbrook Lane to County Road 30 and east to County Road 81
The new Hwy 610 alignment includes nearly three miles of four-lane highway between Hwy 169 in Brooklyn Park and County Road 81 in Maple Grove. Construction is scheduled to be complete in July 2011.
