Hwy 61 traffic signal relocated to Fifth Street in Hastings
(Roseville, Minn.) – Motorists traveling Hwy 61 through Hastings will encounter a relocated traffic signal at Fifth Street beginning Tuesday morning, May 24.
The traffic signal will temporarily replace an existing signal at Fourth Street through the 2011 construction season. The move enables the next phase of Hastings Bridge reconstruction to begin at the Fourth Street intersection.
As is expected for the entire project, two-way traffic will remain across the river during rush hours, and access to local businesses and residences will not be affected.
