Butler Avenue to close at Hwy 52

Crews to rehabilitate bridge deck


Roseville, Minn. — Motorists traveling both directions of Butler Avenue in South St. Paul and West St. Paul will encounter delays beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 18 as the Butler Avenue Bridge spanning Hwy 52 is closed for deck repairs.

 

Westbound Butler Avenue traffic will follow a detour using northbound Hwy 52, to westbound Concord Avenue, to southbound Hwy 52, then back to westbound Butler Avenue.

 

Eastbound Butler Avenue traffic will follow a detour using southbound Hwy 52, to eastbound Thompson Avenue, to northbound Hwy 52, then back to eastbound Butler Avenue.


All lanes of Butler Avenue are scheduled to open by June 1, 2011.


Future lane, ramp and road closures will occur near Hwy 52 between I-494 and the Mississippi River in St. Paul through late September. Details about those closures will be made available in advance.
