Hwy 169 restriping rescheduled for May 16
Fog lines have been removed; remainder of work postponed due to weather
(Roseville, Minn.) – Motorists traveling both directions of Highway 169 between Pioneer Trail and Highway 13 near the Minnesota River are urged to use caution until crews can complete permanent restriping of the roadway.
Crews completed removal of the fog lines on Highway 169 near the Minnesota River early Friday, May 13 as the first phase of work required to revert Highway 169 river crossing to its original configuration before floodwater forced the closure of Highways 41 and 101.
Crews will next return to complete the work overnight on Monday and Tuesday, May 16 and 17.
As a result, northbound Highway 169 will be reduced to a single lane between Highway 13 and Pioneer Trail beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, May 16. Southbound Highway 169 will be reduced to a single lane beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17. All lanes will be open to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.
All work is weather dependent.
